When I went to get my visa renewed, we parked on this street. As far as the eye can see in either direction there are wedding shops (with assistants in each one trying to sell you lovely 'merangue' dresses)!

Look out for the cockroaches, rats, etc...

The currency was in hyper-inflation. Keep money in dollars and change it every day otherwise you would lose out. This was probably worth about 1/2p by the time I left!
