4 oz. Butter
4 oz. Brown Sugar
1 egg yolk
2 oz. plain flour
2 oz porridge oats.
Grease a
Swiss Roll tin. Set over to 375º or Mark 5.
Beat butter, sugar and egg yolk until smooth. Add
flour and oats.
Press mixture into tin and bake for 15-20 minutes.
Cool slightly.

TOPPING:
3 oz. plain chocolate
1 oz. butter
Melt butter and chocolate and spread over mixture in the
tin.
Cut into bars whilst warm, but leave in tin until completely
cold.
