Bex Lewis: Favourites
I have found a
few sites that sell unusual things, and seem reliable!
- CD-Wow
All Top 75 Single Albums are £8.99 including delivery.
I have bought several CDs from CD-Wow and have never had
any problems with them. E-mails are sent confirming that
payment has been received, when the disk has been despatched,
with an estimated date of delivery of 5-7 days, although
they often arrive within a couple of days. Definitely
worth bookmarking!
- Cows
of Canada
I came across the Cows site as I was looking for information
on Anne of Green Gables (I have read the series several
times) and obviously my interest in cows attracted me
to this site. In 2005, I ordered a number of items for
the site, and they were all pretty good!
- Demotivators
Absolutely hilarious subversion of the motivational posters
you get in many offices. I was introduced via the 'Procrastination'
poster, and many of the others are just as funny. Unusual
present.
- Hawkin's
Bazaar
I first came across this catalogue in paper form,
and I think it offers some excellent products (and some
very candid and humorous descriptions of those products!)
at very good value. There is free postage and packing
if you order over £30, which can be quite easy, although
there are plenty of 'pocket money' sized items in it!
I ordered all my Christmas presents from it a few years
ago.!
- Twineham
Grange Farms
A little bit of an unusual gift - some cheese made
by genuine Italians from British milk (which used to include
my Dad!)
- Power
Bottle USA
The only water bottle I have found which didn't leak
for about 4 years!
