Lauterbrunnen, 2001
Chalet Jungfrau in Lauterbrunnen
was such a good location for an Oakhall
holiday, that I decided I would go on a second trip there,
and what an ace holiday!

The view from near the
Chalet

Me & Helen having a
break on a second day!

"Nigel, are you SURE
that you've put enough sun cream on?!" (Believe me,
this boy puts this much on for real!)

Pre-skiiing exercises

The end of a sucessful
day's skiing!

Here we go again!

Skiing from Mannlichen
to Kleine Sheidegg

And down onto Brandegg
for Apple Fritters...

Wednesday: Gorgeous weather...
towards Grindelwald

... and back up in the
Cable Car - not too scary this time! (Think Florida, Nicky!)

Phil, my ski instructor
after the final morning's lesson - can parallel ski (most
of the time!) - hurrah!

After the final lesson
- relax and go to Brandegg again (Well, the apple fritters
ARE very nice!)

St Bernard's Church in
Wengen

The prospect of the black
run goes to Paul's head!

Bex just looks slightly
nervous!

Getting ready to warm up
by skiing down Birg before tackling the Schilthorn
- in the distance.

At the top - ready to go
down! Note
the Sign!

One particular
run from the top of the Schilthorn is excellent for experts;
a steep but not terrifying black mogul field. 1ski.com
Nearly at the end of Schilthorn
Black Run for the 2nd Time!

The Fondue Evening!

Heading into my birthday
(Adrian, I couldn't disappoint
you by not having a picture of me with either a glass or
a bottle in my hand - or in this case - both , although
I think the bottle was pretty much empty - not all me, I
hasten to add!)
